Though large from its exterior, venturing in you can uncover many of the venue's cosy corners and quiet nooks, perfect for sharing the night with somebody special. And when the rare Manchester sun shines The Wharf really comes into its own, with a large outdoor patio facing the canal. Upstairs provides a more formal dining experience which sometimes requires advance booking, while downstairs is great for a quick pub lunch.
The menu serves up some tasty treats, from classic dishes such as steak and the Northern speciality hot pot to incredible sharing platters. If you're feeling a little peckish and want something on the go then the bar offers a great selection of sandwiches and snacks, which you can wash down with a choice of six cask ales, 100 malts and over 50 wine selections.
